Hi team,

What will happen if customer leave LM3481-Q1 pin FA/SYNC/SD floating? Can IC operates at certain fix frequency or it cannot work normally? Thanks

    Hi Scarlett,

    Thank you for using E2E forums, regarding your query this pin is needed for adjusting the frequency adjusting and that seems to be necessary for it to be fixed at a single frequency through a resistor. how will it fix at a frequency if the pin is floating?

    Hi Haroon,

    Customer would like to know if the pin can be left floating. It is not recommended, or it can be used by frequency not stable? Thanks

    Hi Scarlett,

    Thank you for your reply, This is pin is not supposed to be left floating. When tested on the EVM the voltage level is 0.94V, so it is not supposed to be left floating.
