TPS25814: Asking for TPS25814 design suggestions

Hi Team,

Customer would like to design TPS25814 and customer would like to check weather they can short D+/D- to PCH to support USB data and BC1.2.

Would you please help review  and provide your comments?

Or customer need to use TPS25810+TUSB2546?

    Hi SHH,

    You are able to use TPS25814 in order to support USB data and BC1.2. This is done using the USB_N and USB_P pins on Type-C controller. This pins are tied to D+/D- lines in order to configure for BC1.2. You will still need to connect D+/D- lines to PCH for USB data.

    Another option would be to use TPS2546 + TPS25810.
