Help selecting flyback controller

Hi,

For this thread, https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management-group/power-management/f/power-management-forum/1188239/ucc24624-application, I need some help for finding Flyback controller for the auxiliary power supply in Boost PFC + LLC.

Previously I was used Power Integration IC TNY288KG. Can you please suggest.

Requirement-

1. compatible to TNY288KG like inbuilt internal switch, VDS rating and maximum power rating etc.

2. But I do not need isolation between primary & secondary. (Remove Opto-coupler)

3. Two output voltages (12V, 600mA & 18V, 500mA) in the output side. I have use stacked winding in the secondary side for 12V & 18V.

4. I want to sense 12V output in FB pin for better regulation.

Please provide your suggestion.

I will share the schematic on mail.

Thanks & Regards,

Raj Kumar Chaurasiya

  • Hi Rajkumar,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Unfortunately, we do not have switchers (FET built into controller) that supports the output power level (7.2W+9W) that you are looking for.

We have UCC28910 and UCC28911 switcher that supports 700V start up volt and up to 12W output power (see below table)

A close cross for ACDC primary side regulated (no opto needed) controller is UCC28730 (SOIC7 footprint) that supports 700V HV startup and  <5mW standby power.

    Thanks,

    Claire
