Hi, we use the TPS40051 to get in the output 5.1V @6A and it is working fine. This design has been working for a while but we were trying to a new Mosfet in the SMPS for supply chain and we noticea weird behavior in the controller. We remove the new mosfets and soldered the older mosfet and the failure was still there. The wrong behavior is:
- When the load is ON and I turn on the controller, output has some spikes which in a certain level (exactly above the 2A) the output voltage is too high and an overvoltage failure is asserted. We tested the other power modules with the same controllers and it is not showing that behavior. 
and even with a low load you can see the same spikes
can you help to solve this problem?
