TPS54360: Generate -15v 2.4amp from +24v

Part Number: TPS54360

I want to create +/-15v from +24v similar to the product here on ebay using the same chip eg TPS54360 : TPS54360 Step Down Switching Power Supply Module Positive Negative Dual Voltage | eBay

The +15v is not a problem as I can use webbench but the -15V doesn't work on webbench.

I found a sample at Create an Inverting Power Supply from a Step-Down Regulator (Rev. B) to create -12v at 300mA.  Is there anything special I need to change to make it -15V @ 2.4a besides the resistor dividers?  I'm not sure what inductor/diode/resistor would be suitable for this and any pointers would be appreciated.

  • Hello

I have attached some app notes that may be of some help.

If you use the same switching frequency as in the app note that you found, then you could use the same inductor and adjust the feedback divider

    for -15Vout.

However, the compensation components would need to be adjusted.

This is best done by using a positive output EVM and converting to negative output and testing.
