BQ77915: Schematic review and fault recovery.

With 16V input I am getting 2.6v output. But at first the BMS was heating. I am not sure if it was cell balancing and then it gave constant 2.4v output. I have tried fault recovery method but I am not getting any change.

    Hi Akhil,

    After reviewing the schematic we found that you may be missing some steps we would recommend. 

    1. We strongly recommend a sense resist filter RC circuit (100ohm / 0.1uF) for the SRP and SRN pins across the sense resistor. Please refer to section 10.2 Typical Application in the datasheet Figure 10-9 for an example. 

    2. We encourage you take a look at different FET configurations found in our guide here in section 10.1.1 Recommended System Implementation for how to configure the CHG FET circuit. 

    3. Please also become familiarized with the various failure modes of the device as shown on Table 9-5. Fault Condition, State, and Recovery Methods on the datasheet.
