Hello, Team

our customer sees the difference on the formula of Rtip between design calculator and datasheet,

they want to know which formula could they use. 

may i have your help to ranswer this question?

    Hi King,

    The formula that you are showing in the calculator is not the entire/whole calculation for current limit.

    The formula in the calculator is for Irriple_min which is the inductor ripple current at vin_min and includes the tolerances of the inductor. This is only the part of the formula circled in red below.

    You still need to divide the ripple by 2 and add it to Ilim_valley in order to get the Iout_Lim(min).

    Therefore, there is no conflict between what the calculator shows and what the datasheet suggests.
