LM2664: Noise induced by the LM2664 switching

Part Number: LM2664

Hi Experts,

Our customer is using the component LM2664M6/NOPB to convert 2.7V to -2.7V, but he notice using an oscilloscope a switching noise at 60kHz at the output of an op-amp that is supplied by the LM2664. Is there a way to reduce the switching noise? Will using ultra-low ESR capacitors will reduce the switching noise significantly?

Thank you and best regards,
Gerald

  • Hi Gerald,

Thank you for using E2E forums, regarding your query having ultra-low ESR capacitors will always lower the switching noise, so definitely you could add those and see if the noise is reduced.
