Hello team,
TPS6040x has several variation, fixed Fsw or adjustable.
What's the benefit of fixed frequency?
Is there any application reason of each 20k/50k/250kHz ?

Hello Tosh,
Apologies for the late response.
The frequency variation is predictable with a fixed-frequency device. Hence, the EMI filter can be optimized relative to the switching frequency. And it ensures that the noise generated by the converter is effectively suppressed.
The frequency options give the customer flexibility in choosing a part that will not interfere with their application. In addition, they will have the opportunity to optimize either efficiency or solution size. The lower frequency IC offers better efficiency but a higher solution area, while the device with higher frequency should be selected if the solution is the main priority.
I hope I was able to answer your queries.
Best regards,
