5V input charge 1 cell li-on battery

We plan to use bq24125 to charge 1 cell Li-on battery from 5V(64%-84% duty) but we concern thermal so is there any solution from TI to do such application?

    Thanks!! Anyway, how bq24133 can improve temperature issue compare to bq24125? Only reduce RDS on both high side and low size?

  • bq24125 use PFET for the high side switching FETs. The two input PFETs total resistor is 400mohm.  The bq24133 use NFET and the resistor is much lower than PFET.
