TLVM13630: Fsw selection

Hi Team,

one question regarding TLVM13630 and Fsw selection.

We will generate 5V with TLVM13630 from 24V.

The table 7.1 recommends to use 1MHz Fsw, do you see any problem to use 531kHz for improved efficiency ?

Is there a equation how Cout_min depends on the Fsw?

    Hello

    Going all the way down to 531kHz would be too low for the internal inductance value, in my opinion.

    I think you could try 800kHz or 750kHz and see if the improvement in efficiency is worth the change.

    Then, for the output capacitor you can use the table provided.
