BQ4050: Keep LEDs on at end of charge

Hello,

I see that ff [LEDCHG] = 1, the LED display will show the state-of-charge during charging when Current() > Charge Current Threshold. Is there a way to keep the LEDs on once charging has completed and the charger is still connected? Can this be done with the LED TOGGLE MAC command maybe? I don't see it in table 13-1 to say if it's available in SEALED mode.

    Hello Michael,

    I don't believe we have a function to leave the LEDs on while the charger is inserted. The gauge would not be able to tell if the charger is present or not if both the FETs are on there will be voltage on the PACK pin and that is the normal way we detect if a charger is present.

    The LED toggle commands aren't available in SEALED state, they are meant for testing.
