I am trying to find technical data for part number TL7705AMJGB to compare to replacement TL7705A so I can compare if it is a Form, Fit, Function.

Hello Ron,

TL7705AMJGB is an obsoleted device and data sheet is no longer available.

If you are working a new design, I would recommend considering the new generation device such as https://www.ti.com/product/TPS37

How would i determine if this replacement is a Form Fit Function without the data sheet for the obsolete item?

Hello Ron,

Based on part number it appears that TL7705AMJGB had similar spec to TL7705A but was offered in a CDIP package which is no longer available.

TPS37 device mentioned above will offer similar functionality with improved performance but a design and layout change will be required.
