Hi Team,
I would like to use LM3544MX-L/NOPB in my new design. And I make sure that the part is available for more than 10 years.
Could you please share any expected EOL information for the part? Thanks.
Best regards,
Insu

Hi Insu,
We don't currently have plans to EOL this device in the next few years, yet I'll have to say it is hard to comment for 10 years from now.
Even if the device will be planned for EOL in the future, we'll typically leave you with a window to order more units until we finally terminate the production of the device.
If you are still concerned --
Newer devices will be supported for a longer time from now until its EOL. Does this project schedule still allow for a new device evaluation?
We have a newer device TPS2044BDR which is pin to pin with LM3544MX-L/NOPB. Could you check if this device could work for your application?
Looking forward to hear from you again.

Hi Wanqi
Thanks a lot for looking into this.
It's nice to know that the part doesn't have any EOL plan yet. And I totally agree with that it is hard to comment for 10 years from now.
And thanks for recommending the pin-to-pin alternative, which is very nice. I'll have a look at it.
Everything looks good to me, and I'll come back if needed.
Kind regards,
Insu
