BQ24780S: Charge Current Issue

Hello E2E Experts,

Good day.

When I start the charge progress, It starts. When I read the value that was measured from the multimeter, it is wrong. For instance, I set the charge current to 3000 mA, I read 2500 mA from the multimeter. My RS has %0.5 tolerance and 10 mOhm. What is the problem?

Another recommendation that I would have is to test the EVM to ensure there is not setup issue before continuing the debug process for customer board.

Check your input current limit setting, and make sure you input power is enough to charge battery with 3A current.
