I'd like your advice about TPS6590378 suddenly freezing.
The output of TPS6590378 suddenly disappears and RESET_OUT goes Low.
What external factors can cause this condition?

We are having trouble reproducing it.

Which output exactly? Is it all LDOs and SMPS regulators? Is LDOVRTC and/or the 32kHz clock still running?

Assuming all outputs turn off we can perhaps assume the device has transitioned to the OFF state. If that is the case, I would review section 6.4.2.2 of the datasheet. This section outlines all of the various OFF REQUESTS which could cause the device to transition from some active state into the OFF state.
