TPS65988: Tps65987 spi less flashing

What is the end equipment that you are designing for? Are you using the TPS65987DH PD controller?

Typically, we recommend customers use and SPI flash as that is what we have on our reference designs. Is there any reason you are avoiding/can't use an external SPI flash?

It does not look like we currently have documents available online for flashing the TPS65987, i'll ask internally to see if there is anything available.

I spoke with a team member about the document referenced, and it seems like the document was removed. I can see if I can find a copy, but in the meantime please answer the above questions.

The reason why I am looking for this particular way because the configuration which we are choosing for our PD controller is BP_ECWAIT_Internal. So once I  am not able to flash the newly manufactured pd which comes from TI. Instead I need to update the BUSPOWERZ configuration to  BP_WaitFor3V3_internal.

The reason for choosing BP_ECWAIT_internal is to support to boot the board in a dead battery mode.

Can you please let us know on a quick basis.
