UCC256404: Brown-in/out function and the communication IC connect LLC second side and system side.

Hi team,

My customer has two questions here.

1. Does UCC256404 have Brown-in/out function? if yes, how to achieve it? if no, do we have other solution can recommend? 

2. Do we have the communication IC can connect LLC second side and system side? if yes, would you please to recommend the part number to me? and also provide the roadmap, document. it will be very helpful for me to promote our solution in the future. thanks!

    One more question:

    3. Does UCC256404 have brown in/out function at HV pin? on the other words that do we have this function at AC side? if yes, how to achieve it?

    Hi Jimmy,

    1. UCC25640x does have a Brown In/out function. This function is implemented using BLK pin. Please refer page 30 of the data sheet for further details.

    2. Could you elaborate your second question. What information you want to communicate?   You are looking for a controller with a digital core? If yes, you need to create a new thread with some part numbers so that it will be assigned to the corresponding group.

    3. brown in/out function is implemented using LLC DC input voltage. HV pin is for controller startup and x-cap discharge purposes.
