Hi team,

I have a TPS54340DDA on my old board, and the board is in production.

I need to design a new board and want to use the chip. But I noticed that Digikey said "Not Recommended for New Design".

I am not sure that TI does not recommend the chip for a new design.

And I would like to know any EOL information for the part.

I appreciate all comments, and let me know if you have any questions.

Hi,

We have made some improvement to TPS54340 in B version and the TPS54340B are pin-to-pin drop in upgrade to the existing TPS54340. Suggest you can use TPS54340B in your new design. Differences of these two devices are elaborated in the link below:
