LM1085: Fully RoHs compliant alternative

Hi Kavita,

TPS7A3301RGWR is a fully RoHs compliant alternative for LM2990SX-12/NOPB. 

LM1085 is an older device, we don't have a RoHs compatible part that matches all LM1085 specs. I would still like to make a part recommendation that meets your needs. Is there an input/output voltage, current, or other specs that you are looking for?

Hi Kavita,

LM1085 has a 7a RoHs exemption and is mostly lead free, see TI's environmental information & RoHs Exemption document. 

If you need 3A, I think TPS7A53 could be a good fit for LM1085ISX-5.0/NOPB

If >29V is a priority, I think TPS7A47 could be a good fit. 

Please let me know if the parts I recommended are viable alternatives. I'm happy to find  a better fit for your application.
