Hi guys,
I made a post before this one:
Where I wanted to use a BMS to control a battery cell, but I saw that it was not the best option since it was a 1S application after making some modifications in the original design now I want to integrate a fuel gauge, I plan to use the BQ27441DRZR-G1A but I have some doubts:
* Is it a better idea to use the BQ27441DRZR-G1A for a 3.7Vn @ 3000mAh battery?
* How do I get the fuel gauge to know the battery status when I first connect the battery?
* I really don't want to have to implement complex temperature compensation algorithms on the host MCU so I would like to know if the BQ27441DRZR-G1A has built-in temperature compensation.
* Can I just query the remaining battery capacity to the BQ27441DRZR-G1A or should I implement some algorithm on the host MCU to calculate the remaining battery capacity?
* And finally, will it be the best option for medical devices? Since I want to use the BQ24075RGTR together with the BQ27441DRZR-G1A in a medical device, if not the best option, what charge indicator could I use at low cost?
I hope you can help me.
Thank.
