Hi Experts,

Can you confirm if the design from Webench:

Can be used by customer for the isolated DC-DC converter for the Power over ethernet application and to meet the timeline need a component with a schematic.

Below are their requirements:

Boost converter with isolation
Input Voltage: 12 to 36V
Output Voltage: 48V
Output Power: 19W

Application: Power over ethernet (POE): Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) up to 19W - IEEE802.3af

The Webbench design looks good to me.

The LM5156 is one of the parts where we offer a Quick Start Calculator Excel tool which allows you to properly calculate all components including the compensation network.

Please download the LM5155/56 Flyback Controller Quick Start Calculator (Rev. A) from our website:
www.ti.com/.../snvc240

Then fill in the parameters and you can calculate the Bode plot, efficiency, and so forth.
