What will happen if I apply DC voltage instead of AC to the line input ?

Will it lead to any damage to any part of PFC circuit ?

What is the range of DC voltage which can be applied to the i/p of bridge rectifier of PFC circuit?

I am designing 1.75kW battery charger. I want to apply dc voltage for finding any short between line and neutral and short between output of bridge rectifier and ground. I asked above question for this purpose.

If I can apply up to 400VDC, I can test LLC circuit also with DC source.
