UCC28070: Question about 4-phase.

Hi

Page 18 of the datasheet contains a four-phase SCH.

Is the external clock shown required to configure four-phase?

I want to implement 8kw, is it possible with one ucc28070? Or do I have to make a four-phase with two ucc28070?

    Hi David,

    Thank you for the query on UCC28070.

    It would be better to go with a four phase design with 2 UCC28070 controllers for such high power using external synchronization as you have shown above. We do not have a reference design showing this external synchronization feature between multiple modules.
