TPSM63610: VLDOIN, VOUT1,2 ABS max

HI team,

There are no VLDOIN and also VOUT1,2 ABS max in the datasheet. How much is the ABS max?

    Hi Hayashi,

    VOUT1 and VOUT 2 have an abs max of 20V which is the maximum output voltage for the module.

    The VLDOIN has an abs max voltage of 16V.

    Hi Jimmy,

    When customer sets 20V as output voltage by resistor divider with its typical value, the output voltage might be higher than 20V by resistor accuracy. In this case, what will happen? 

    This is similar question, what will happen in setting >20V in resistor?

    Hi Hayashi,

    There shouldn't be an issue with setting the output voltage a bit higher than 20V.

    However given that the 2.2uH inductor is integrated into the power module, this may limit low low of a frequency you can go before device either has insufficient slope compensation or hits current limit. 

    For a 20V output application, I would suggest operating at 28V input and switching frequency starting at 1.2-1.4MHz.
