TPS23754: Question about TPS23754

Hello:

At present, My client is using the TPS23754 IC. He fully uses the TPS23754EVM-383 evaluation board design,

After proofing, the circuit is completely correct and the output is normal. It can output 12V 25W. Due to the system problem, He wants to increase the output voltage to 15~18V.

When he adjust the sampling resistance (R20, r25), It can boost the voltage, but the power consumption is very high. It is easy to burn PCB, and more than 10 pieces have been burned. My client wants TI to give some suggestions. Or the circuit diagram can be provided for reference,Thanks!!!

    May I know what transformer your customer used and what is your PoE & adapter input voltage?

    The max duty cycle of TPS23754 is 76%. If you used a transformer like 750311320 (PRI : SEC = 1.8 : 1), your formula will be Vin*0.76*1/1.8 = 18V, which requires Vin higher than 42.6 V. You can consider to choose a transformer with lower PRI:SEC turns ratio if it is the issue.
