Hello,

My customer is looking for a TI fuel gauge device replacement for the MAX17058.

However, it must be a product that guarantees not only the operating temperature range of the device but also the temperature below zero for the operation of the fuel gauge.

Can you please recommend a suitable product among TI's fuel gauge products?

In addition, if a TI fuel gauge device is used, is there a separate procedure for TI to generate modeling data for the customer's battery?

Hello JH,

bq27427 supports three chemistry profiles are preprogrammed. You may use the GPCCHEM tool to check if the customer's battery is a good match to one of these profiles.

For temperature below zero operation, a flash based gauge can perform much better since it allows programming specific chemistry data(vs preprogrammed). You can compare features using this link https://www.ti.com/power-management/battery-management/fuel-gauges/products.html#p1152=Single%20Cell
