Hi,

The bqfs file I exported from the bqStudio should have the following format:

“W: i2cAddr RegAddr Byte0 Byte1 Byte2…”.

So the first byte is the address. In the Data Block, it looks like the address changes. Is this correct or does this mean my bqfs has some issue?

I have a followup question on this. What is ROM mode? This is not mentioned in the specification or technical manual. Does this mean unsealed mode or something else?

Hello Michael,

ROM mode is not documented and only used for programming the golden image. The bq.fs file makes the process simple by providing the sequence of commands without having to worry about how ROM mode works. The gauge will never be in ROM mode during normal operation.
