When the LM7480x-Q1 is configured with only ideal diodes (one FET), is it possible to connect the power supply for charging the CAP pin capacitor to a separate power supply that rises before the A pin instead of VS?

If Q1 is Yes, please let us know if there is any functional impact.

If Q1 is No, could you please introduce other ways to speed up the startup/or a possible controller?

    If I understood correctly you need to turn ON the DGATE faster for your application which is why you are looking to charge the CAP fast using external supply.

    Can you tell us why you need such fast gate turn ON in ideal diode only configuration where the output voltage would be powered upto (input voltage-FET drop)?

    Yes, your understanding is right.

    I think this is due to application specification requirements. I will check with the customer if details are needed.
