Hi team,
In the datasheet, for the "Maximum Collector Current vs Duty Cycle" (figure 6-4 & 6-5), there are only a figure for D and N package.

Is there any data for the NS and PW package?
Regards,
Ohashi

Hi Ohashi-san,
I have reached out to our internal team to see if we have this data, or if we can collect it.
I should have an answer for you Monday.

Elizabeth
Hi Elizabeth
Any update on this?
My customer wants the data for thier new design.

Hi Ryoma,
The Maximum Collector Current vs Duty Cycle curves will depend firstly on the thermal characteristics and the expected self-heating of the device.
As such, we can look at the RθJA values for each package as an indicator of max collector current performance.
Based on these RθJA values, the NS performance is expected to be slightly better than the N, so the N graph can be used.
The PW package is harder to confirm, but will have worse performance than the N graph.
Can you confirm, is your customer using the NS or PW package?

Best Regards,
Elizabeth
Hi Elizabeth,
Thanks for the support.
My customer is currently using ULN2003AINSR, but willing to move ULN2003AIPWR since it is smaller.
Is it possible to take both of the data?
Regards,
Ohashi
Hi Ohashi-san,
Due to the age of these parts, we are not able to capture this data at this time.
If the customer is satisfied with the ULN2003AINSR performance and is concerned with the drive capability of the PW package, I would recommend adhering to the current design. This NS package should out perform the provided D and N package "Maximum Collector Current vs Duty Cycle" plots.
Best Regards,
Elizabeth
