TPS25750: Connection between DRP devices

Dear TI team

We are considering developing a board equipped with "TPS25750D" as a 5V/2A DRP PDO.

I want to connect the board with the "TPS25750D" on it to a PC (DRP device) using a type-c cable.

Is there a way to reliably negotiate the "TPS25750D" side as a sink device?

(Or how to prevent it from becoming a source device when connecting to any device)

Thank you for reaching out!

Currently the TPS25750 GUI does not allow a 5V/2A PDO, it is set to 5V/3A. However, we are looking into this.

Yes, there is a way to reliably negotiate as a sink device. This is the link to the GUI for reference: https://dev.ti.com/gallery/info/USBPD/TPS25750_Application_Customization_Tool

In question #4, it asks "What is the preferred power role?", and you can select power sink (consumer). Please let me know if you have additional questions.
