UCD90320: UCD90320 external temperature monitoring

Hi,
Two external temperature sensors are connected to rail 17 and 18 of UCD90320 respectively. we did added appropriate temperature calibration gain and offset. temperature readings also fine as expected.

Problem,
when we program the tifsp/xml to fresh and unprogrammed UCD90320 , temperature reading after programming successfully looks ok. but immediate next power cycle of UCD, temperature calibration gain becomes 1.3X automatically. and this value do not change again after any number of power cycles. But, if i re-write temperature callibration gain using "write to hardware" and "store to flash" using GUI after fresh programiing and power cycle, temperature calibration gain do not change again by itself to 1.3X and everything works as expected.

How to solve for this 1.3X automatic scaling when we program unprogrammed device ?

Hi, Gaonkar,

Can you provide the .tifsp/xml file? Also, do you perform "STORE_DEFAULT" after programming "unprogrammed device"?

Hi, Gaonkar,

When you import either project file (.xml), or system file (.tifsp), make sure to select "Store_to_Flash", increase "Wait time before Store_to_Flash" to 5000, and increase "Wait time after Store_to_Flash" to 5000 (or longer) and see if it works.

added 5000 ms before and after flash operation. still the issue not resolve. As said, Please share your mail id so that i can send the xml file.

Questions: What GUI version are you using? Do you import .xml file or .tifsp file? Can you provide screenshot of steps which include selections?

GUI version in use : 7.7.1
I usually import .tifsp file. also tried .xml. both are giving same results.
Importing steps and .xml has been mailed to you.
