LM25148: schematic review

Part Number: LM25148
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5148

Hi,

Could you review below circuit?

Vin: 24V

Vout: 12V

Current: 10A ~ 15A

  • Hi David,

Can you double-check and attach LM5148 quickstart calculator?

    https://www.ti.com/tool/LM5148-LM25148DESIGN-CALC

Your current sense resistor should be ~3mΩ to set a 20A peak current limit.

4mΩ set a peak current limit of 15A, where the average output current will be lower.

VDDA cap is oversized, can be just 0.1uF.

I Think the CNFG resistor is incorrect, looks like you are configuring dual-phase.

For single-phase with spread spectrum just use 41.2kΩ.

Double-check your compensation with the quickstart calculator.

    Hope this helps,

    -Orlando
