Requirements:
Same as TPS54040DGQ
3.5V to 42V or more Input Voltage Range
Min. 0.5 A Current limit

Can we take TPS5401?

    Hi Bernd,

    Thank you for reaching out and continuing to use our products.  I compared the two datasheets and the answer is yes but please note that the TPS54040 has tighter output voltage regulation than TPS5401.  The former has 2% accuracy, and the latter 3.5% accuracy.

    Is there another switching regulator besides the TPS5401 that has similar characteristics, packaging, input voltage, current, etc., as the TPS54040?
