Hello,

is it possible to use the 5V LDO output to supply three (3) TPS3702 monitor ICs (connected to VDD Pin of TPS3702)?

TPS3702 has a max. VDD current of 12uA each, so total current well below 50uA. Pull-ups are tied to another voltage (3.3V, which is generated by TPSM53602). We would like to avoid an additional regulator only for that small amount of current. The input voltage of TPSM53602 is 25V nominal (min 13V/ max  28V) and generates 3.3V. I think from current consumption point this should be fine (100k pull-up at power Good means current draw of 50uA as well). Maybe it is not recommended to route the V5V supply voltage several cm on PCB board. Could you please clarify this or give some hints?

    Hi Andreas,

    Thank you for using our products.  I do not see a problem of consuming 50uA from V5V, but why not also use 3.3V to feed TPS3702's VDD?  As you may know, switching converter (here is the 3.3Vout) is always efficiency than the linear circuit like the internal LDO.
