Hi Team, 

I got some questions relating to the TPS65987: 

  1. Almost all the components in the flash list, according to the TPS65987 data sheet, are obsolete. can W25X05CLUXIG be used?

 

TPS65987 – the strapping for SPI_POXI, ADCIN2, ADCIN1 are not clear to me.

  1. What are the recommended strapping if we want to support alternate mode and also to be the source(supply the VBUS)?
  2. Just want to make sure – during boot, Is the switch to VBUS off? – meaning no voltage is supplied to VBUS?

TUSB1146 – What is the default state of the redriver-mux? Can the signals go through the mux while TPS65987 is booting? Which signals are routed?

  1. Can TPS65987 control TUSB1146 via I2C?
  2. Can the GUI help me configure the PD Controller to control both the power supply and the TUSB1146 via I2C? I want to make sure I don’t need to add new code to the configuration the GUI can provide.
  3. Can the GUI provide a full solution to all the configuration and programming I need in my design?
