Hello,

we are currently evaluating the eval board UCC21750QDWEVM-025.

Is there any reason to impelement an additional interlock (U6 - SN74AHC1G08Q) or is it only recommended for functional saftey?

We would usually implementi it like in the datasheet of the UCC21750?

    Hi,

    Generally, we recommend customers use a controller to implement deadtime properly while the interlock in the driver should just be a backup. As for why this evaluation board in particular has the additional interlock, I would have to do some additional digging.
