I would like to learn how to use the bq34z100 on bq34z100EVM, but I don't have EV2300/2400 communications interface adapter.

Do you think it would be possible to flash data in the bq34z100 registers on bq34z100EVM with I2C from my board?

Thanks for the quick answer. I understand a user needs to create the bqfs file with ev2x00. After that, I can program it in the bq34z100 via I2C bus.

I modified the csv.file and config.txt, but there is one error in GPC asbelow.

The battery module is composed of 2P2S, and the 2P voltage of 5.0V to 8.2V doesn't seems to be acceptable. 

How can I fix the issue?

Charging taper current recommendation is "Charge using CC or CV charging to full using taper current. (For example, C/100.)" Wait till the charge current is below 40mA.

It is also better to relax for more than 2 hours and 5 hours respectively.

The time interval in the log suddenly changes during rest, it is possible that this may cause issues within the calculator. I would continue to log at the same rate.

The battery capacity is 40Ah, so the taper current is 0.4A(C/100).

Should I retest at the same log time? Do you think the Chem ID can be created by the present report?

    I found the error message says that Invalid Zip File Member followed by the file name in the zip file, but when I download the uploaded zip file, the csv file is roomtemp_rel_di_rel.csv, can you doublecheck if the upload file to GPCChem webtool is the same file you uploaded onto the E2E?

I uploaded the attached file on GPCChem webtool again. 

I got the same error:

I got the following error message because of removing the charge portion data.
Error: Wrong data format make sure file has coma or tab separated values. 

Here is the original csv file. The battery module is packed with 2P2S pouch cells.

Can TI create its Chem ID? It is impossible to ship the battery module, but I can provide the datailed spec.

I recieved the same error message with the above zip file. The stack voltage is too high in GPC.

Could you confirm this issue with R&D team?

    I submitted your log file, I found though the system gives error message, but in the report file, the GPCChem Tool has already processed the data, but the issue is the error being too high to be success.

    I think you may need submit the cell to TI for characterizing test, however, I am also check with internal team if any measure can be taken to get a result with acceptable error

Should I prolong 1 hour for the relaxation time (3hrs/6hrs) ?

As mentioned repeatedly, the battery module is composed of 2S2P pouch cells. 

The datasheet says the cell voltage must be less than 4.15V, that is, 8.30V of 2S cells. Do you accept the charging voltage is at most 8.20V?

    Using low charging voltage would cause trouble for both GPCChem calculation and post learning process, if the voltage must be limited below 4.15v, you'd need to send the battery to TI for characterizing.

    Besides the lab in US, we still have lab in Taiwan and Shanghai, can you ship batteries to one of this 2 cities?

The packed pouch cells are secondhand battery for EV. It is not allowed to ship the battery oveaseas. Do you have an alternative plan?

The pouch cell must be less than 4.15V. Do you think it is possible to charge until 4.15V?

The battery used for EV is similar as the below pitcure.

Sorry but we can't ship the battery packed 2P2S cells overseas, and there is no new battery in the market now.

The secondhand battery is used for our products, so some errors should be accepted.

Okay. I will retest with the packed battery at 4.15V/cell charging voltage and 3hr/6hr relaxation time.

I had got the following error message from GPCChem tool after submitting the previous file for 2P cells.

I guess the error is too long data. Should a sampling time prolong 10 seconds or more to meet TI's requirement of GPCChem tool?
