Hello, Sir.

We used BQ76952 for battery management of the GD32 through the I2C protocol.

I had a few problems estimating the battery SOC:

I need the voltage and current of the battery for Kalman filtering. Should the measurement of the voltage and current determine the ADSCAN bit or the FULLSCAN bit? In addition, should the current be measured using the calculated value in the synchronous voltage and current measurement or cc2?

What is the difference between the DSTATUS1 ~4() subcommand reporting in 32-bit format the raw current ADC reading and cc2 count synchronized with the battery voltage measurement？

Hi Darluu,

I'm not sure the question is clear about the ADSCAN and FULLSCAN bits. The ADSCAN and FULLSCAN bits are used to map to the Alarm Raw Satus() register or the Alarm Status() registers (if this functionality is enabled) to signify when a measurement loop has been completed and when measurements are available to read. As for the the current measurement and what to use in your calculations for SoC, this E2E blog post may be more clear about the use of the CC2 and the DSTATUS1~4().
