LP3943: unused LED channels design recommendation EMI/ESD

the customer says, that they made bad experience with floating pins in the past. Can you explain why we recommend to left them floating.

one additional information about this issue. We have made bad experience with floating points during emc tests. So we prefer to connect the unused outputs diractly to GND. SI this ok?

i can`t descirbe the problem in detail, but my emc colleague said that he have had problems at burst tests. 

Why it is not good to connect these pins to GND? Is it better to connect ro vdd? Or is it really better to leave them floating?

If you say the best way is to leave them floating i will do this.
