VIN 10-18 votls  2 AMP 33 volt output.

 

Switcher specs Qty 2-SI4896 FET's.  Why are 2 necessary?

    Hi Fred,

    I have tried to change the quantity of SI4896DY to 1 but got a warning message saying that "High-side mosFet junction temperature is greater than 125˚C! This is based on TI standards for board layout. Additional heat sinking and forced air may be used to reduce junction temperatures." I have contacted the team working on SwitcherPro and they found out there is a bug for junction temperature calculation. They will correct it. Thank you very much for your feedback!

    Hi Fred,

    The Rds,on of SI4896DY in the database has higher value, which leads to error for the junction temperature calculation. This will be corrected in July release.
