BQ76952: Body diode protection

Part Number: BQ76952

Hi,

My BMS senses COV on a cell and the CHG mosfet turns off, like it should. But for some reason the CHG randomly turn the CHG for maybe 1-2 seconds. This will overcharge my cells because the charger is still connected.

For testing purposes I disabled the body diode protection, and now the CHG does not ramdomly turn on again. But now i don't have the body diode protection anymore. My body diode threshold is set at 0x7FFF and there is no load connected to the battery.

How can the CHG mosfet still be enabled when there is no discharge current/load present????

Greetings,
