Hi team,

Could you tell the reason why back-to-back FETs are connected with source common as below?

It seems that back-to-back FETs are connected with drain common in case of low side driver. Could you also tell the reason this?

The TPS1211-Q1 gate drive architecture supports back-to-back FETs only in common source configuration. Can you share your requirements.

Customer just wants to understand any reasons/backgrounds why the device has the architecture supports back-to-back FETs only in common source configuration. Any comments on this?

We need dual gates to drive FETs in common drain configuration such as LM749x0-Q1 https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/lm74910-q1.pdf

one gate drives the FET with reference to Vin and other gate drive the other FET with reference to Vout
