BQ2054: Studying the impact of high DC-charging in EVs in LiPo Batteries at high C-rates and most common charging methods used in nowadays market

Part Number: BQ2054

Hello everyone!

I am trying to replicate the charging method of DC fast charging stations for electric vehicles in one/two cell(s) of LiPo battery(ies). The purpose of the experiment is to measure the impact of high-charging C-rates in LiPo cells in the CHARGING phase of the cycling, therefore, part of designing the experiment is finding out about the actual C-rates used in the market to charge these EVs fastly, as well as to identify the current and voltage values at which these are done. I was then wondering if the BQ2054 IC would be a great fit for this experiment, or if there are any other valid options that I can opt for? Also, based on the info in datasheet, I couldnt find the actual C-rates at which this IC works, so, is there an explanation pertaining this inquiry?

Thanks a lot for any help!
