BQ40Z50: Not able to charge battery via BQ40Z50 due to UVLO leaving bat floating

Part Number: BQ40Z50
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25792, TPS65987D

Hello,

I have this issue where the BQ40Z50 reaches UVLO and the FET leaves the battery floating which is as expected to prevent over discharge of the pack but when this scenario occurs, the charger is not able to charge the battery since it is floating. The charger being used in this case is BQ25792.
Typically, the BMS just needs to sense a charge on the FET drive output pin but the charger is not able to support floating battery scenario (as mentioned in the datasheet).
So, the question really comes down to how to resolve the UVLO condition so that the battery can be charged.
Is any pointer that you can provide in order to overcome this scenario? Because the floating pin case isn't abnormal, it is a case which could occur in most applications.
Please feel free to ask for more information if required.

Thanks in advance.

Additional: The project uses TPS65987D USB PD controller which then leads to BQ25792 battery charger which finally leads to BQ40Z50 battery management system.
