BQ76952: Configuration

Part Number: BQ76952
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO, , EV2400

Hi Team,

I have the BQ76952 evaluation board and the adapter board (EV2400). When I try to connect that to BQSTUDIO, I notice that the software auto detects (“76952_0_36”), but when I try to select a target, I don’t see a matching option from the list as you can see in the image below. What are the differences between those 3 things: 76952_0_24, 76952_0_28 and 76952_0_36? And what is the correct target that I should select?

Thanks!
Connor

  • Hello Connor,

The firmware running on the device you have is 76952_0_36, you need to upload to the "C:\ti\BatteryManagementStudio\config" directory the 76952_0_36.bqz file. I will attach it here.

    BQZ file Instructions:
0- Make sure BQStudio is closed
    1- Please navigate to "C:\ti\BatteryManagementStudio\config"
2- Move the downloaded bqz file into the config folder "C:\ti\BatteryManagementStudio\config"
    3- Relaunch bqStudio

    It should autodetect now.
