If EN is de-asserted (output is turned off) AND Vo>Vin, is FAULT_N asserted?

The TPS2551 is not recommended for new design (NRND). It is replaced by TPS2553. In either part, when EN is false, the part is in standby which turns off all the internal circuits.The FLT driver is not turned on when EN is true.

Hi Bob,

Thanks for the answer, however your last sentence confused me - did you mean to say that the FLT driver is not turned on when EN is low (TRUE=output turned on)?

Sorrry, I meant to say .....the fault driver is not turned on when the EN is false.
