BQ25616: Q4 (BATFET) OFF state

Hi team,

Can I check when the Q4 FET is OFF? Is there any other state to shut off the Q4 FET?

1. CHG_EN =Disable

2. CHG_STAT = L (I know it is output, want to confirm if the indicator is relating BATFET or no switching)

3. No battery connected

    Hayashi,

    The BATFET may control the current flow bidirectionally.

    1: /CE: When charge is disabled, the current can’t flow from SYS to BAT (charging), but the current may flow from BAT to SYS (discharging).

    2: Can't tell BATFET status.

    Already answered the same question on 3/27/23 email.
