TPS53353: Output capacitors - Selection criteria

Part Number: TPS53353

Hi all,

I wanted to ask about the output capacitors' selection criteria for this specific DC/DC converter. Thera are only two scenarios considered in the datasheet: one in which electrolytic capacitors are used, and another one in which only ceramic capacitors are selected. However, I see no reason why electrolytic + ceramics cannot be used, right? If only electrolytic caps are used, I understand that ESR can be a problem for the stability of the control loop. If ceramics caps are used, the ripple injection proposed in the datasheet should be implemented. But electrolytics + ceramics can be used together following the same ripple injection approach, right?

Best regards,

Juan
