    Teja,

    Is the maximum VIN below 6V? If so, there may be other parts that can also work here. TPS62148 schematic looks fine to me. Since I did not see the Cin and Cout voltage ratings, please ensure there is enough margin on the voltage, 10V+ should work here. Also, inductor saturation current rating should be higher than the max current inductor will see during startup and any short circuit conditions that may occur at the output. In case there is a chance of output short circuit, I would recommend using an inductor with saturation current rating higher than 4.2A

    Hi Amod,

    Thanks for your valuable feedback. Regarding the Cin and Cout Voltage ratings we are using 16V Caps, The Inductor Saturation current is of 6A it wont create any issues of Short circuit. please correct me if i am wrong.
